10. Louisville Slugger
Ballpark

Home of the RiverBats, Louisville Slugger Ballpark is a well-executed retro stadium that includes touches like the gaudy signs on the back fence and dugout that are missing at many of the more sterilized ballparks being built around the country.

Named (thankfully) for the one corporate sponsor in a local market who should have naming rights to a team, our favorite bat company is the patron of the RiverBats.

The stadium is expansive and comfortable, with both prime seating and those wonderful cheap seats that are the home of the beer swilling rabble that keep the outfield entertaining.

Some of the more upscale tailgate parties in the parking lot feature some great smelling cue on the mini-grill.

Turnout varies, but with the likes of Adam Dunn in the house, how could a good crowd not form?

A local destination, Louisville is a gracious and charming city, more sedate than others on our list, but still a place which knows how to entertain its guests.
