Nothing succeeds like success, and the Round Rock Express know what works in keeping their fans happy.  The Dell Diamond has been one of the most successful parks in baseball, let alone in Class AA baseball. This "Diamond" is the crown jewel of the Texas League.

The key to their record-breaking attendance success is that, “our number-one priority is that our fans have fun,” noted Derrick Grubbs, Assistant General Manager of the Texas League team.  

“It's important to us that (the Dell Diamond) is a fun place, an affordable place to bring a family.”

New this season is a covered seating section called The Home Run Porch.   The addition behind the left-fielder was nesessary to increase the park's capacity, as Round Rock will be moving up to the Triple-A Pacific Coast League in 2005. The current team will be moved to Corpus Christi, Texas.

The Express is the entertainment engine of the Ryan brothers. Does it hurt to have the occasional promotion to take on Nolan Ryan on the mound? Nope. The Ryans are smart businessmen. They have hired one of the best front office staffs in baseball, who have worked tirelessly to think up ways to make fans come on down to Round Rock.

Location is another key to Round Rock's success. The town puts them at the doorstep of a lot of fans in nearby Austin. Round Rock is also a convenient route for many to Shreveport, Louisiana and the gambling and entertainment that brings many Texans across the state line.
