Round One First Round

When we asked 2004's Fab50 No. 1 Pick BJ Upton if any of his siblings played baseball, he said "Yeah, my younger brother's pretty good." Good enough, apparently, for the Great Bridge High School phenom to be the Diamondbacks' No. 1 pick in the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft. The top thirty of Round One include ten high school grads, one-third of the first rounders this year. There are the obvious top-of-the-line picks from baseball powerhouse schools like Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach. There are also nice finds like the Marlins' second pick (29th Overall), RHP Jacob L Marceaux from McNeese State.
