Round Six Sixth Round

Again, pitchers predominated, with 17 chosen. This round included the first significant number of catchers - five, including an early run of three in four picks. In mid-round, Toronto selected U. of Florida's Brian Jeroloman, considered the best defensive catcher. All but six of the 30 players, including all the catchers, were from four-year colleges. The Indians continued to add pitching with Texas A&M RHP Daniel Creps.
