ROUND NINE
Mo is the best defender in the draft, with NBA D. Should have gone much higher. Young is making the transition to the point guard who likes to hit people and take the ball inside in a very physical game. Walton is undersized but a great athlete with good touch and leaping ability. Forehan-Kelly can shoot the ball, but needs D work in the D-League. Bell is a work in progress with a need for confidence and assertiveness. McKnight has been around the world and at the WBA in the three but needs to play two-guard to make the NBA. Steyn did better this summer out of the limitations in coaching at NCAA-II. A surprisingly low pick for a guy who has had great showcase games and got a lot of good feedback from the San Antonio Spurs and the Utah Jazz. Duke has prior D-League experience but is more of a stock D-League player than a prospect. Thomas is an underrated player who can knock opposing teams off balance. Simpson is a reserve player with strong D. Moses is the younger brother of Stephan, a good passing point guard.
