When you subscribe with us, PayPal.com, our subscription management service, will ask you for information. Please see their privacy notice regarding their information policies and procedures. We do not collect information on users reading our system, other than what is provided to us by PayPal, Inc. or by you in the form of a direct survey where we ask questions of you the reader. We do not engage in any data mining or marketing. We do not sell information to third-party companies, nor lend or hire our subscription lists in any way.

For security purposes, and to monitor our free subscription trial periods, we may log IP addresses of readers. If you are in a high-security enviornment, or you are concerned about the third-party links to our site(s) we do not recommend reading our publications.

We participate in several chat/message board services including MySpace.com, Gather.com and Facebook.com that are not directly affiliated with Minor League News nor are we responsible for their content or privacy practices . Please visit their sites to learn more about their policies and procedures. If you provide your email address, we may send you our private newsletter. We currently use two advertising services which may collect information on you (or their subsidiaries and affiliates) when you click on the banners that lead to their advertisers' sites. Our Advertising Services

Even if you remain in the same window when you click on a "hot-link" (button or text link) that takes you to another site, we are not responsible for the privacy rules of our advertisers and/or companies who provide us with special services, such as chat rooms or discussion groups.

Our Commitment To Data Security

We collect basic information about our customers using the chat and discussion areas. The services which collect information about you on our behalf are those companies that we contract with to provide us with hosted electronic commerce services and electronic credit card transaction processing (when available.).

Our Commitment to Our Subscribers

We maintain information on all subscribers, including those who cancel. Subscription information is only used by our subscription department and is not otherwise sold, hired or lent. All subscription issues are generally handled by PayPal. If you do not want your subscription after the 30 day trial period, please respond to their email to cancel it, or go on line to PayPal and terminate your subscription via your PayPal account. If PayPal should fail to terminate your subscription, and you tried to have them cancel it, please provide documentation of your attempt and we will rectify it on our end. Otherwise, all subscriptions that are cleared by PayPal are considered active and will lapse at the end of their 365 day period. PayPal may keep additional information about you for their purposes. Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

We believe that children are our most important asset. As a sports website, we do attract children and young adults. Information gathered on children is collected purely to verify their age and protect their publications dedicated to their use (MLNKids.com). We only include single ad banners, screened for their age appropriateness, in our children's section. As we are not in control of all of our ad systems on MLN Sports Zone, we try to limit inappropriate advertisers on our magazine site, and screen more tightly on our kids' site. If one appears whom you believe is in violation of our policies, or promotes goods or services harmful to children, contact us.

We believe that a part of responsible parenting is teaching your children how to react to advertising banners which appear on websites. While we use advertising services which screen their advertisers, there will be products available on certain pages that may be inappropriate for children and youth (cigar companies, non-pornographic men's magazines, etc.).

We encourage parents to participate in their child's browsing of the site, and help them to make informed choices about where they travel on the Internet. Use of a screening software like NetNanny or SurfWatch is also highly recommended.
