The Fine Print (* & **)

This contest is open to all in the U.S., Canada or Mexico except employees and families of employees of MLN Sports Group LLC, all minor league organizations and their franchises, media organizations, and the relatives of athletes currently in the minor leagues, or those who could play on a minor league club within the next twelve (12) calendar months. No purchase is necessary.

Winners to be selected by the editors of Minor League News. If no entry is deemed to be a winner by the editors, no award will be made. Prizes will be awarded to fans submitting winning entries even if the player does not agree to participate.

All photos submitted become the property and copyrighted material of MLN Sports Group LLC. By your submission, you acknowledge that the photograph is your original work, that you have ownership of it, and that it is not licensed, in whole or in part, to any other company for any reason. Royalties for photographs only for MLNGear(tm) licensed sportswear, merchandise, and novelties. Use for any other editorial or promotional purpose by MLN Sports Group LLC or its affiliates or assigns, including give-away items not sold, IS NOT covered under the royalty agreement. Royalties will be paid on items SOLD, not on items created, printed, or published within ninety (90) days of sale. Winners with photos will be given the complete agreement with further contest rules if their work is selected.

For players to be eligible to receive compensation, you must have no restrictions for appearances or merchandise with other publications or organizations that have contracted to use your name or likeness. You must make yourself available for a photo shoot prior to January 15th, 2004, if no award-winning photo of you is chosen. Fees are for likeness use and photo session (if necessary) and royalties apply only to MLNGear(tm) licensed sportswear, merchandise, and novelties. Use for any editorial or promotional purpose by MLN Sports Group LLC or its affiliates or assigns, including give-away items not sold, IS NOT covered under the royalty agreement. Appearance fees to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis and are limited to events which promote MLNGear which DO NOT include games, training, public events by other companies, or other normal team or league-related events. Royalties will be paid on items SOLD, not on items created, printed, or published, within ninety (90) days of sale. Players and their represntatives will be given the complete agreement with further contest rules if they are selected.

This contest may be terminated at any time, but will positievely end at midnight on November 15, 2003. Void where prohibited by law.
