BIO

Brett Hansen returns for his second season with the team as the media/public relations director. In his position he serves as the liaison between local and national media and the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Hansen broke into the sports industry in the summer of 2001 as he was the clubhouse manager for the Sioux City Explorers, an independent minor league baseball team. He added two more summers of experience in baseball as he was the media relations intern for the Explorers (2002) and Coastal Bend Aviators (2003). His first job in basketball was with the Great Lakes Storm of the Continental Basketball Association as he was the media relations director during the 2004-05 season. Hansen was honored this past season as the 2006 CBA Public Relations Director of the Year.

A native of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Hansen graduated from Wayne State College in August of 2003 with a degree in Sport Management. He was the student manager for the men’s basketball team during his four years at Wayne State College.

Brett and his wife, Krissy, reside in Sioux Falls.

BIO

Ashley started with the Stingrays in October of 2005 as an intern. She is a 2005 graduate from the University of Tulsa, where she received a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Marketing Communications. This season marks her first as Marketing and Public Relations Manager. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Ashley moved to the Charleston area upon graduation and currently resides in Mt. Pleasant.
