Editor:
Having just read the article in the Danbury newspaper on the indictments of [its] owner and his wire taps to the UHL commissioner, I came across your article posted in January 2004.
The UHL commissioner, Richard Brosal, needs to do the decent thing and resign. How the team owners in the league can support this man after the phone taps were made public is beyond me. You had an accurate measure of the man 2 years ago. A very well written article.
Sincerely,
Dale Harmon
Kalamazoo Wing Season Ticket Holder.
Thanks, Dale, for the compliment. We've written a whole bunch of articles on the questionable practices of Commissioner Brosal and the UHL. Here's our Google list.
Hello,
I was searching for a photo of Corey Locke with the Ottawa 67's and tripped on your website. I must say, I love it! Keep up the good work.

I read the editorial about the 21st Century visionary ["Baseball, Heal Thyself" - Opinion], I couldn't agree with you more. I just moved to Cleveland from Denver for this gig, and miss Colorado greatly. I count myself fortunate that I can call Branch Barrett Rickey a friend. You should fix your piece, he's not, nor does he like to be referred as, The Third. His middle namesake is for Charley Barrett, Branch, Sr.'s chief scout with the Browns and Cardinals.
Best,

I just read the article Kori Ellis wrote on Noel Felix and thought it was a great piece. Players like Noel deserve some attention brought their way. Along the same lines, there is a rookie in the CBA named Roger Powell who I think would make a great story for you guys. Roger was a starter for the Illinois final four team last year and now finds himself on the Rockford Lightning (CBA). Currently he is 4th in the league in scoring, 8th in rebounding etc, and was a participant in the All-star game as a rookie. Roger, like Noel, was one of the last cuts by the Sonics. Much more importantly for your story, Roger is a licensed minister. I think a story on him could help enlarge your reading base, because of the love for Roger by the people in Illinois, as well as anyone with strong religious beliefs. Keep up the good work.
