

Another new team has risen to the top of the latest AFLWA Top 8 Poll, however, the rankings could receive another shake-up when the top two teams meet this weekend.
The No. 1 Georgia Force visits the No. 2 New Orleans VooDoo, with each having moved up two spots from last week to claim their current rankings.
Georgia (6-2) became the sixth team in nine weeks to occupy No. 1, with a 49-47 victory over the Orlando Predators. The Force received 10 first-place votes and 101 points.
New Orleans (6-2) picked up two first-place votes and 92 points following its 46-40 overtime victory over the Chicago Rush.
The Dallas Desperados (6-2) moved up two places after a 72-50 victory over Los Angeles (4-3), dropping the Avengers out of the poll from their previous No. 8 spot.
Dallas hosts the No. 4 Colorado Crush (5-2), which advanced three slots after defeating the Columbus Destroyers 52-37.
The previous No. 1, the New York Dragons (5-2), fell four places to No. 5 when they were beaten 57-47 by the Austin Wranglers. New York next travels to Columbus (1-6).
Orlando (5-3), which fell four spots to No. 6 following their loss to Georgia, hosts Austin (3-5).
Moving into the poll
were the defending champion San Jose SaberCats (4-3), who claimed the No.
7 ranking with a 72-48 victory over the Grand Rapids Rampage. San Jose visits
the Las Vegas Gladiators (5-3).
The Tampa Bay Storm (4-3) moved down two spaces to No. 8 after a 69-63 loss
to the Philadelphia Soul. Tampa Bay is at Los Angeles (4-3).
