Sigalet serves as an ambassador for MS Lifelines, which raises awareness about the disease.
In March of this year, he raised $10,000 for research in the MS Walk in Ohio. He organized an MS Awareness Weekend on campus at Bowling Green.
Altogether the Sigalets have raised $60,000, most of which goes to research and the rest to MS victims who lack money to purchase wheel chairs and medication.
A Different Take on MS
"So many people think it's a life-threatening disease," he said. :"It's not. It's just disabling. Part of what I want to do is to get out there as an ambassador and spread awareness about the disease and share my story so people are aware of what multiple sclerosis is, and that way we can raise more money and hopefully find a cure."

The injections have stopped the progression of Jordan’s disease, something that was verified last summer through an MRI. The progression of his career continues, and two other wishes are fulfilled.

The Boston Bruins have Sigalet in the net for the AAA AHL P-Bruins, and they picked up the contract of younger brother Jonathan, who backs up his brother as a Defenseman for the Baby Bears. His prospects for a shot at the nets of Boston and the NHL remain bright.
