Corey Perry was tapped as the No.1 player in all of minor league hockey by the editors of Minor League News (MLN) in their annual mid-season talent and movement rankings. Center Ryan Getzlaf followed on his heels with a No. 2 berth. Dustin Penner was not far behind at No. 6, While defenceman Ladislav Smid came in at No. 15.
