Corey Perry was tapped as the No.1 player in all of minor league hockey by the editors of Minor League News (MLN) in their annual mid-season talent and movement rankings. Center Ryan Getzlaf followed on his heels with a No. 2 berth. Dustin Penner was not far behind at No. 6, While defenceman Ladislav Smid came in at No. 15. This is not only the best crop of talent in the minors, but one of the highest overall finishes for anyone one club... ever!
