WORCESTER, Mass. -- In the old days, Claude Lemieux was the most hated man in hockey.

These days, he is just about the most intriguing.

Five years after delivering his last NHL two-hander from behind, Lemieux, at age 43, is trying to reclaim his title as the NHL’s “pest extraordinaire”.

Lemieux, who picked up four Stanley Cup rings during his 20 seasons in the NHL is taking the first strides along the comeback trail as a Worcester Shark.

If dressing out of a suitcase, eating out of a pizza box, and playing for AHL scale is Lemieux’s idea of living the dream, then he’s living it in Technicolor.
