The Atlantic Coast Hockey League is the newest addition to the hockey organization. Containing six teams, the 180 game league season begins October 17th when the Jacksonville Barracudas open at Macon, Georgia against the Macon Trax.
Jim Riggs, Commissioner of the ACHL said, “ We have players coming from all over. There is recruiting out of the Canadian Junior ‘A’ Hockey League and out of college.”

Impact Change - Will the league be able to compete with the other sports that the Florida area offers?
Key Stats - Players are still being signed and scouted. Each team has had a GM and Coach in place since early August.
